There's an old adage that the human knee is so fragile (dare we say flawed) that it's conclusive proof that God doesn't exist. Theology aside, of all the joints, the knee is the most problematic—probably because it bares so much of your weight and is called on to do so many diverse tasks. (For this reason alone, artificial turf should be outlawed from all sports arenas.)
