SAME AS ABOVE, EXCEPT . . . Get a solid platform that's about four to six inches high. A step from the aerobics studio works well. You're going to stand on the box, and then do everything as described for the deadlift. Since the bar's lower, you'll have to start the lift with your body lower (and use less weight, of course). The extra challenge of that will help make regular deadliftts seem easier.
