WHO: Craig & Michelle Dozeman
WHERE: Grand Rapids, Michigan
WHAT: (L-R) '70 Dodge Super Bee hardtop, '74 Plymouth
'Cuda & '70 Plymouth Road Runner coupe
Craig had owned his '70 Bee for nearly three decades before he and Michelle decided to restore it. During that time, every room in their house became a tribute to Mopar (thanks to the parts that came off the Bee).
There's a stroked 440 under the now-functional power blister hood, backed with a Hemi A-833 shifted by a Hurst Pistol Grip, and the rear end contains a 4.89-geared Sure Grip differential. A BeCool aluminum radiator keeps the engine cool, while a new coat of Plum Crazy adds to the coolness outside.
Their goal was to get it done in time for this year's Grand Rapids Autorama...which they not only did, but they scored First Place in a very competitive class!
Michelle says that they've added two more Mopars—a '74 'Cuda and '70 Road Runner. She adds that their house is still a Mopar shrine—with photos and trophies in each room, instead of parts!
