Side Steps work your outer thighs (abductors). You'll need an exercise tube and a large area to move around.
Place the exercise tube under your feet and grasp each handle with the opposite hand. Stand straight and keep your core muscles right.
Take a large step to the right, keeping tension on the tube and lowering into a squat. Bring your left leg toward your right leg, but without letting up on the tension. Keep stepping toward the right in this fashion for 15 to 20 repetitions, or for the length of the room. Switch sides and step to the left.
Put more resistance into this exercise by looping the tube around your hands to make the tube tighter.
